About This Product
Students measure the coefficient of linear expansion of copper, brass and aluminium rods heated by steam, and find specific heat capacities and the latent heats of fusion of ice and vaporisation of water with the calorimeter. Further experiments compare the thermal conductivity of different rods, show convection in liquids and gases and radiant heat absorption, and cover Boyle’s and Charles’s laws, the law of cooling and the first law of thermodynamics. Educational Instrument can arrange export supply of the Thermology to New Zealand, Bangladesh, Haiti, Cambodia, Paraguay and Grenada.
Frequently Asked Questions
